Clear! No broken arm. Phew! Messing with a two year old with a cast sounded rather miserable for all involved. George is recovering but still not quite all together so I took Faithy to the radiologist.
It occurred to me that she would probably need someone to stay in the room with her and they probably wouldn’t want me to do it since I’m pregnant, so I called my parents and Dad ended up drawing the short straw (Mom is sick now, which is not our fault since we haven’t seen her in two weeks).
Turned out to be a good thing he came. They wouldn’t even let me go back and stand in the booth with the lady who pushes the button to snap the pictures! They said they didn’t want me anywhere near the X-ray so I had stay in the waiting room.
Sounds like I missed quite the show. Dad said that Faith didn’t like the X-ray at all. She had to lie on a table with the machine above her doing its thing, and she just flipped out while Dad and one of the assistants were trying to hold her down and keep her still. I guess they managed to X-ray the assistant’s hand three times! This is one of the few times in the last eight months that I’ve actually been glad I’m pregnant.
Anyway, the radiologist came out to talk to us before I even got my purse picked up, and he said the scan looked just great so hurray! Thank you, Dad, for coming with us today. This would not have worked without you (and it was nice hanging around visiting with you in the waiting room).
And now, because I am evil, I just have to post my very favorite picture of my wonderful Dad even though the picture is blurry (hey, it’s hard to hold still during a dragon attack). Hehe.

Now how can you not love that? He’s being attacked by Georgie’s six foot stuffed dragon, Draco. I think Georgie actually took the picture.
